Miraak Follower mod bug?

Hi. I'm fairly new to Nexus and have only tried modding a few days ago. I'm very sorry if I posted this in the wrong part of the forum. If that's the case, please just move it to the appropriate section.

 

I'm currently trying my first mod which is Miraak - Dragonborn follower. My problem starts as soon as I completed the "Keep using the full Bend Will shout on Miraak" objective.

 

When I've completed the Bend Will thing and he said something like "you are the true Dragonborn", ANOTHER Miraak appeared and acted like my ally (which I think is not supposed to happen at all). Miraak#2 kept slashing and casting spells until Miraak#1's health dropped and he teleported away. Then appeared in the middle of the stage, impaled by Hermaeus Mora's tentacle with a little bit of health left, which never drops. Me and Miraak#2 kept on shouting, slashing casting spells to kill him but nothing happens.

 

Hermaeus Mora NEVER appears to fight us and I'm now stuck with 2 Miraaks; one who stays impaled but never dies and another who becomes my ally.

 

I tried using the setstage command and it did finish the quest like in the vanilla game, leaving just the skeleton of Miraak#1 and his loot. When I talked to Miraak#2, his dialogue option for a follower was there, but his voice was not and the option cannot be used. I clicked on it but nothing happens.

 

I've been searching for solutions to this but it seems that nobody else are facing this problem (not that I know of). I really want to have Miraak as a follower. I have only this mod running for now, along with the Unofficial Dragonborn Patch, so obviously it's not a matter of clashing mods. Please help :confused:

Mod might be broken. Sad to break your bowl of cereal.

 

Read a few comments from the mod file, do it yourself too.

 

Here's what I found "I really was excited to download this mod. But it's broken, very broken and buggy and the author doesn't seem to be doing anything about it. Someone needs to make a better Miraak follower mod."

If you read the entire mod page (it's a wall of text, I know) you can recruit Miraak to be your follower even if you defeat him in Apocropha. From the mod page:

 

 

f you install the mod on a save that has already beaten Dragonborn,the mod behaves as if you already rescued Miraak. You can also go to the MCM menu and use the Skip option (or use the command "set MFSkipMQRequirement to 1") and then change locations to start the unlocking quest at any time.

 

I've tried using the Bend Will thing and it's tricky to get right. My advice is to just defeat Miraak normally, then use the above fix to recruit him afterwards.

Hi well I have a solution for all.

 

You see I had a same problem playing that mod , that mod is very bug but I found a solution.

 

Install this mod: That replace Miraak follower but it is the same mod. (You can't use this and mod Miraak follower together).

After that when you installed and enabled mod enter the game. (Use save game before you started fight with him).

 

And first fight him until he absorb soul of all 3 dragons (fight him until then). after that use your bend will

 

until he say: You are true dragonborn, then try the dialogue if that doesn't work (dialogue bugs) then use this id: 0301FB98 or 0401FB98. and use dialogue.

 

And you'r done.
