Half-Giants

So there are bandits, and highwaymen and the like who have severe optimism problems when it comes to holding up people in full daedric armor enchanted to such a degree that they hum when they walk past. Something needs to be done to give them a legitimate reason to think they can win.

 

Enter the half-giant. A fully armed and armored juggernaut that stands a head higher than Tsun himself.

 

Let's say they were cobbled together by a group of Hagravens, combining the brute strength of a giant and the cunning and skill of a man. However, unlike the peaceful giant, these half-giants were vicious and aggressive. So much so, that they slew their creators and set out on their own. Their strength and endurance would make them worth 10 regular soldiers, however their unpredictable and unreliable nature makes them as much a liability as an asset. More often than not, they find themselves bullying their way into bandit gangs where they lord their strength and prowess over the "puny worms".

 

The only thing a half-giant cares about is might. They dislike the softness of gold and silks, but revel in iron and steel. They wear their fortunes in their thick platemail and wield them in their massive weapons.

 

I'm thinking Half-giants should spawn as highwaymen and in occasionally in bandit hideouts. What do you think?

Surprised nobody said anything about this. Nice write up. If i was a modder or had any skill in maya or something, id look into this. Maybe even a quick cut of a mix between a giant and man/orc body models scaled to be .5 or 1.2 times bigger than the biggest humanoid model. I like the way it sounds, anyway. Need more spawns that give off a viscious blood thirsty or cruel vibe. +1
