sarzios
Hi all, I'm having an issue with an old armor mod from the original game. Basically everything from the mod works on the new skyrim, except for the helm. As soon as I equip the helm, my character goes bald and is engulfed by a red diamond with an exclamation mark in the middle. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can fix this? I've tried un-installing and the like, I should also mention that I unpacked the BSA and I am using the loose files. The mod in question is "Skyrim Knights" by hideouscircus if anyone wants to know which mod it is. I'm not looking to upload it and take credit or anything, it's just one of my favourite mods that I'd like to use again. Thanks.
SirPatrickStewart
Well, you are trying to use an ORIGINAL Skyrim mod with the NEW Skyrim Special Edition. If the mod author never ported it to Skyrim SE then it is likely to have errors. Maybe the helmet has a file or the like that isn't compatible. sarzios
Yeah no kidding, I did make it aware that the mod was from the original game in my very first sentence. And I'm fully aware that there is an error or incompatibility when using it on the new game, after all that is THE REASON I'm here, to ASK FOR HELP so that I can DIAGNOSE and FIX the PROBLEM. Not so that someone can come in and state the bloody obvious. Also, a lot of mods are able to be used directly from the old game, I for example am using pretty much all of aMidians textures for armors without any issues at all.
