My Eyes!!

Pardon the noobish question, but they're missing entirely. :S

It started when I installed a new, fancy looking eye retex mod, but then the eye meshes disappeared and I can't get them back.

Any idea how to fix this?

It helps us a great deal to know which 'fancy looking eye retex mod' you installed.

Also a mod load order list. This will tell us the names of all mods and the order in which they are being loaded by the game. If you don't already have it DL and install OBMM.

When you got that done read the help files for OBMM where you will learn how to output the load order list.

Yes I have OBMM already, and have been very careful about which mods I've installed because I've had to reinstall oblivion over 10 times, and it's really a pain.

So yes here is my current list:

All of these were coexisting just fine until I installed Elaborate Eyes. At that point, my eyeballs diskappeared. So then I tried Elaborate Eyes Simplified, but no deal. So I ditched those two and instead installed Elveons Realistic Eyes (which doesn't contain an esp). Still no eyes.

Not being entirely versed on vanilla oblivion file structure, I don't know anything about eye meshes, so I have no idea where to look. (no pun intended)

Ok so I just remembered I had installed Beautiful People at one point. That is likely the source of my problems. Unfortunately I have no idea how to uninstall it.

That's easy. All the files for beautiful people are in meshes and textures. Compare your mesh and texture folders to the temporary folder you used to copy the files from, and delete the files that match with the temporary folder for beautiful people. After that, deactivate the esp and beautiful people is uninstalled. I had this same issue once, except it misalligned the pupils making the eyes look too white since half the eye at the bottom of the socket and half at the top of the socket. Rather wierd how so many problems happen with eyes. Also, beautiful people comes with an eye fix for thief's arsenal. If you don't have TA, then delete the folder named "Thieves Arsenal Eye Fix". That solved my eye issues. Hope I helped

Edit: Sorry for the tripple post. The site is having some issues.

Hmm, just tried your suggestion and it didn't work. I reinstalled Beautiful People, tried running the game, no eyes. So then I deleted all the files that BP installed and...still no eyes. Where the eyes should be, there is a gaping hole in which I can see the back of people's heads. It's most disturbing.

Is there an "eye mesh" somewhere that I can copy to my data folder?

Edit 2: Fixed! Diverse NPCs was the problem. Got rid of it and now the eyes are back to normal. Thanks for the help!
