BlindLookout
I've installed a texture mod and the Static Mesh Improvement mod, both of which might have influenced this problem... but even uninstalling / reinstalling them doesn't seem to help. Treasure chests (specifically the standard rectangular models) have no texture. Is there a way for me to hack a fix for this?
bill8872
Try validating the files through Steam. If the files are corrupted it will replace them.

Hmm, well it was a good idea but it said all files were okay. Doing the update now, who knows...
wim1234
hmm if you uninstall a texture only.mod .the textures can be still in the texture folder.. (depending on the program you used to install it with.)the update is only for uncompressed sound, thats why it is so big.
BlindLookout
SOLUTION FOUND - For some reason "Opulent Thieves Guild" http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/931/? was doing it. Uninstalled that and all is well again.
