AbsoluteAnarchy
I kind of hit a brick wall learning scripting for my travel point mod for RCFW ( http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=44950 ) but managed to make some progress in other areas, like learning Sony Vegas Pro.Here's the result: This is my first render of the video i'm going to have play after activating the vertibird controls to travel between the dc/vegas wastelands, i'd appreciate any feedback about the video because i'm sure there's a lot of ways i could improve it. For instance i'm not sure if i should keep the pictures that pop up as you fly near cities. I still need to render the return trip, as well as record a clip of a vertibird taking off from both places, which hopefully won't be too difficult. Hope is to add this to my mod as an optional file when i can get some scripts in. Right now I've made an interior for the vertibird and wasn't sure what the best method would be to transition to a new cell. Thoughts were to either create two separate vertibird cells for each destination and teleport the player via script, or only one switch the door markers in the script. I also have loads of other scripting questions if anyone is willing to help. Edit: Re-rendered it without the concept art, tell me which one you think is better. Jeux
I find this very creative! Good effort, it is really nice. My only complaint....perhaps too long? Shorten it a bit? Imagine that players will be going back and fourth between the wastelands...having that video should be a nice touch, not an annoying hindrance. I don't mind the concept images though. Nice one. AbsoluteAnarchy
Thanks! Going to be skippable by pressing the escape key, hopefully like the intro in new vegas, so it shouldn't be too much of a bother if you don't want to wait every time you travel.
