XWings
After doing some Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on the XBox 360, i dicided to give the PC version a try (seeing there's actually room for modding).I've downloaded a seemingly 'okay' version of the game via bittorrent. Installing the game went fine after mounting the .daa DVD image. However, every time i try to start the game, it instantly crashes.Tried adjusting the game settings, and giving the program admin rights. Even tried booting it using compatibility mode: XP (SP2). I think it's quite obvious that Windows Vista gives the problem, but just in case I uploaded my DxDiag.txt on Rapidshare: http://rapidshare.com/files/93492149/DxDiag.txt.html Anyone with smilar problems, or a way to fix it?Thanks in advance. martine94
Honestly without sounding rude , But please buy the damn game. I'm so sick of people asking for help with illegal copies of oblivion (And other games ... ) And for your information , Even the vanilla version with mods crashes randomly, And from what i have heard , Modifications does not apply to illegal copies of the game, I'm not sure but i hope so. Well ... buy the game... ehh....Banana-monkey !
ResidentWeevil2077
Warez are a no-no - pirated games/cracked dvds are not safe, simply because you can't trust the source. Seriously, you need to buy the game - confessing you DLed an illegal copy gives us a solemn duty and responsibility to report you to the FBI. And I'm not joking either. XWings
I understand, although already bought the XBox version of the game, i doubt i'll get the PC one for mods only.Just, also if i dicide to buy the PC version, are there any known Vista issues? (seeing alot of games not being vista-ready yet)

martine94
Th most usual vista problem is the console and from what I've heard , the installation. But there are people around here that can help you with that sorta things, Now straight with jail with you!

damstachizz
Ha, you think people asking for help with a pirated version of Oblivion is bad?trying have a spamming fagg say ''gives IP plz'' every 3 seconds on Crysis..God, i've stop playing it online because of that. I had a torrented copy of Oblivion..it worked 100%, all mods worked..etc.But i went out and bought it cause i like it.Yes, i do still use that version today..but i have a purchased CD key, and disc sitting in my room.
