cazaam
Hey my cs is screwed (dont ask details just search my name in advanced search and go to the last page). but to the point i am working on something on blender as i get better and its like a shelf, and desk. i will try get some sc up if you like and i could give some other things a go. im not that good at texturing so perhaps i someone else could get the .blend file and work their magic on it
Zynoq
Yay, you are like the first person spelling my name right! And for the desk thing maybe i could texture it but i have just learnt, and i don't know if i can make a whole new texture. But i could give it a try. And also i have an another idea you could use the bruma ledges to make the fort.
shadowkid2
and to shadow, ur skills would be of great use if this were to take off in any way lol*bows* I'm honoured i can be of assistance. cazaam
Hey i gave texturing a go but for some reason parts of the shesk (cross between desk and shelf) aren't visible when i go in to uv face select mode. the texturing looks fine but take a look at the difference. ones in object mode and th other in uv face select
Lord Furgy
lol spelling is everything! as for that desk, ur aleady ahead of me skill wise so i have no idea what ur talking about lol sry. and to zynoq: excellent lol, ur on the same page as i am in terms of invisioning this place. i created a concept of what it would look like in a game called stronghold 2, ill try to post screenshots when i can (if i can)
Zynoq
Ok so i was playing around in the Cs and this is what it turned out to be. I was in a hurry and i didn't think that the bottom is suppose to be bigger than the other. But it can be changed. http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg293/Zynoq/Stronghold.jpg What do you think about it?
cazaam
Hey looks good. What style of architecture are you aiming for? And also does the city go in a complete ring as the ic does, or in semi ring leves like minas tirith
Zynoq
Oh i forgot to ask do you want the stones to be brighter or darker?
Lord Furgy
i like like like lol, seems like we are all on the same page, stone color is great (unless we would choose to change it later), it would be a semi circle but maybe just a hair farther like a C (except not QUITE that far lol). Now due to this being a strategic fortress style city it would require more gates and more towers, also for strategic purposes the builders of such a city would maximize the distance between the front gate and the smaller 2 gates to the next level, thus putting those 2 gates on each side (if you know what i mean lol) anyways great work, if u wanna keep throwing concepts at me ill be glad to see them
