hunter87j
So, long story short - I had to do a complete uninstall, wipe and reinstall of my base Skyrim game since something broke in the previous version due to conflicting mods. Complete, clean reinstall, and that much I managed fine, even went the distance and wiped/reinstalled the mod manager. On trying to reinstall ENB, though, I've run into a number of issues. Namely, every sizable file I've been downloading from Nexus is corrupted. Nothing works. Small ones that are only a handful of megabytes work just fine, but so far I've yet to get a working batch of files from larger mods that don't end up corrupted somewhere. Downloading them via the Mod Manager works until it refuses to install them, citing an error involving said corrupted files. Downloading them manually doesn't work, either, as my zip extraction tools keep finding corrupted files as well - save for 7Zip which doesn't seem to see a problem with them at all, but trying to load that from file through the NMM "fails to register" the mod. Exactly which files are corrupted seems to change with every attempt I make to manually download it. I'm at my wits' end trying to make this work. I know that it's not likely to be an issue on Nexus' end as the forums would be exploding otherwise, but I never had any of these issues in my three to four years of playing Skyrim until I had to redo this clean install. It's beginning to get to the point where I'm about to swear off the game entirely since it's not worth the aggravation of dealing with a system that doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know of or have a fix for this? It's a great game that I'd love to continue playing, but I've no idea what to do since I'm already starting from a clean slate. EDIT: Okay, finally got the files needed for ENB downloaded and working manually, so that's out of the way. The problem seems to persist with other files, though, and it took a good 15 tries to get the Enhanced Lighting mod to download correctly. batcat69
I've had exactly this same problem, with no resolution. Any thoughts?
Kroekr
Try the manual download (to desktop or someplace easy to find) then using the green plus sign in top left corner add it to NMM.
garrys84
I have the exact same problem, but with NMC's texture pack for FNV. I thought maybe it was a HDD issue so I tried downloading it to a flash drive, didn't work either, still corrupted. I've tried both manual download and using NMM and neither work. I've researched around a bit and it seems like it's because the server cuts out for a second and that interrupts the download and corrupts the file, or something along those lines. This would make sense because these are larger downloads and they take longer to download.

This worked perfectly, and I never would have thought of this, thank you.
Purr4me
yeah, I did realize that, you are all welcome. Adroid does not require .NET nor do you need to use Just that browser, there are app's addblocker app's that act as if they are browsers too, app's for anything as cell tech is the wave of the future. My cell phone sits in a cradle upstairs, I have blue tooth "Pods" all over the house so I can connect every thing wireless and have a clean home, TV sets connected as well thru this interface. Ghostery has one as well. No need to deal with PC related junk or metadata "hard connections" eating up my bandwidth. I am here to help if I can.
