modding with update "12"

so I've been looking for a solution to modding the game now that patch "12" is a thing, everywhere! (i have quite a few mods that worked before the update but the ones that don't work are abilities revamped - rouge, Inquisitor tree overhauled, more banter, quick start, and party at winter palace' some mods do work after the update).

thing is, i read that changing the version number in the package.mft to 12 will do the trick, but when i do that no mods appear in game.

i tried repairing the game and reinstalling both the game and the mod manager but nothing seems to work. help?

:ermm: What patch is this? The last patch I'm aware of is patch 11 (internally numbered 12 in package.mft) and I don't see any pending update in Origin.

 

The Patch_ModManagerMerge folder does need to be numbered higher than your Patch folder in order for the mods to load in the first place, though. That's probably why your mods stopped working when you did that.

I meant patch 11, the problem is that in the mod manager it says that some mods won't work because patch 12 is required. I understand most people solve this by changing the version number in the original patch to 12, but that doesn't seem to work for me, so just wondering if i'm doing something wrong here...
