Syrett
Due to permission restrictions and such, the mods had to be put in and arranged on both accounts on my old comp. It's all installed and working great ....just that on the guest user account, all of the npcs have muddled black skin, even the nords lol. On my admin account however, it all looks perfect. The mods that I used are: Body replacer underwear (tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10168), Rens beauty pack (........id=4431), dark elf remake (......id=13346), elven map (...id=3002). I'm not sure it's the mods though because I ran the game on the guest account with all the mods deactivated and the npcs still all had black skin. Please, someone help me fix this. *begs* Please. Help. - Syrett Edit: forgot to mention that I'm on windows xp service pack2

The 'Guest User' account dose not have the permissions necessary to run Oblivion properly which is why you are experiencing problems. Oblivion will only run properly on accounts that have administrator privileges, which is why it works fine on the admin account. Even if you muddle with the privileges and permissions of the guest account it is designed to default back to is original settings. I believe this is explained in the installation read me that you are asked to read upon completion of the installation. If you are trying to separate the admin account from a ‘working’ account, you will need to create a new account and give that account admin powers. I hope this helps. ---
Syrett
It does help very much. At least I now know what the problem is. Unfortunately I cannot give admin permissions to the guest account. I guess anyone without admin privileges is just going to have to play it the way it is or choose any other game I put on there. lol. Thank you so much for the answer. I really appreciate it. :) - Syrett
