Fixadent
I was excited for Skyrim special edition, but then I realized that NONE of the vanilla mods work it. Are mods like racemenu or enhanced character edit being updated to work with Skyrim SE?

Until the SKSE team succeeds in reverse engineering the new executable and builds a new SKSE for the 64-bit version (SKSE64?), I doubt you will see any mods like Racemenu and ECE. But like Milla said, Racemenu requires SKSE, and that wont be released for a bit. Hopefully sooner rather than later though, just gotta be patient. Don't know bout them, but I myself use a bunch of mods not made for SE, I use SkyUI for one, and that is supposed to use SKSE, Had to follow someone's instructions to install it right, with the right "patch" so to say, but it works none the less, just lacks a few small things that SKSE gave it, but i can do without that stuff. I also use the CBBE body mod and hair mods and skin mods that were not made for SE, I use a mix of SE mods and Default Skyrim mods, using LOOT, and SSEEdit to fix any conflicts and keeping my load order in a logical order, I think it helps at least. haha, well only thing I can say, is try old mods, and stay away from ones the use SKSE for now, none of them work right even if you can get them to run without it, just throw mods at SE and see what sticks! lol just back things up before you tinker, just as a precaution at least.
