"Then blow the hell out of him!" Nox looked at the Sith Holocron that was floating on a pedestal in the middle of the chamber, it reacted to her power and began to speak, much to Nox's dismay, it spoke in Saarlac language! Nox was furious "Oh of course it would speak in f***ing Saarlac Wouldn't it!!! now i am going to have to get a f***ing translator in here!!!" Nox flew into a rage, she threw rocks and bricks around with the force and stamped her foot, punched the wall and swore. Edited by mythicdawnmaster

Delta stepped forward "I am programmed with over 8000 languages... I think Saarlac is one of them"

Vandek Capparshim - Republic Cruiser, Tarisian Orbit

It felt different...waking up in a cramped starship bunkroom as opposed to his roomy apartment back on Manaan. Heh, of all the places for a Jedi Knight to base himself, I chose Manaan. He rose from the bunk and stretched a bit. His payload had made sleeping uncomfortable at first, but he learned to ignore the various prods and pokes of blaster and blade hilts. He pulled a small cake from inside his robe and munched on it whilst he walked amongst the groggy Repulic soldiers. Ever since yesterday when he'd been dragged on board that thing, he had been lost in thought on what possible reason the Republic could have for coming back to a ruin like Taris and why they begged for two Jedi Knights to accompany them. He didn't see how anything significant could have survived the pounding that the Sith gave it years ago, and there was almost certainly no sentient life left.

While he thought on this and finished his breakfast, he was accosted by a Rodian, his fellow Jedi Knight, intellectual, and childhood friend, Abban.

"Looks like we'll finally get to see what these guys want with that big rock out there today." Abban said.

Vandek finished the last of his food before responding. "I sure hope so. Personally I don't see why we're here at all. Taris was forgotten by the galaxy a long time ago."

"Yeah, no doubt. It was in a bad way for a while to begin with, but when that Sith fleet blasted it all to hell, well...I think that was the best thing to ever happen to the place." Abbab added.

Vandek nodded his head in agreement. "That Malak character must've wanted whatever he was after very badly if he iced an entire planet for it, though. Anyway, we should probably hurry up and get to the bridge. They'll be comin' over the intercomm any second now."

The pair continued their musings about the Republic's motives as they made their way to the bridge. Before long, they found themselves standing before the vessel's commanding officer, Admiral Irndon Magansh. Magansh didn't acknowledge them immediately, but kept to the spherical holographic projection in front of him for a few minutes. Vandek and Abban eyed the hologram as well, studying what little details there were. They assumed it was a crude map of Taris.

"I doubt even the commander here knows what's going on here, judging by his and the crew's general cluelessness." Abban whispered to Vandek, who quietly nodded.

Finally, Magansh looked up from hologram and addressed the pair. "Ah, Capparshim and Abban, you're here. Good." He said.

Nox stood with her hands behind her back pacing up and down in front of the holocron. "So... remind me what it said again one more time. It said something about Taris did it not?"
