Shadeybladey
Well, if you have the original Skyrim Vanilla from Steam, plus all three DLCs (as opposed to Skyrim Legendary) and have installed it, verified the license, patched and updated the game, it should work with the latest version of SKSE for that version, which I think was something like SKSE 1.7. Try here: http://skse.silverlock.org/ You also need to make sure that you have the correct version of SkyUI and other mods that rely on SKSE, have installed them correctly and have them in the right load order and ensure they have all been enabled in the launcher. Maybe run BOSS or LOOT. Also, make sure you don't have any mods for the 64 bit Special edition.
snelss0
SKSE needs to be installed a specific way. Being that you are new to modding and Mod Organizer, I suggest you watch this series: he goes through each step and just how to get your game going with mods and SKSE later. Shadeybladey
Oh, yeah, SKSE is not a mod, it's a dll injector, and has to go in ...Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim and not in the DATA folder.
