Sterling City - A CyberPunk themed city

I have had this major idea and inspiration to create my very own take on what a CyberPunk City could look like.

It has its own Police Force, Army, gangs excetera aswell as it's own individual residents, policitians and so forth.

This might not be considered Fallout Canon but I just would like to have a try at it.

What has inspired me most is the many Cyber-Punk anime based films I have seen aswell as studied to gain a better idea on how to go about things.

Things like Ghost in The Shell is a ideal reference but at the same time, try to add the Fallout touch into it to try and keep it true to the spirit of the game series.

Fallout itself has many aspects of CyberPunk feeling to it: Cybernetics, energy weapons, advanced technology, Punks such as Raiders, reevers and so forth.

So far I have created or atleast working on a Police uniform associated with it based off the reenforeced Combat armor.

Sterling City itself will hopfully be based in it's own World space with many features and so on. Sub-terrainian complexes, labs, offices and such.

If you would like to help, firstly you could just link me to some resources I could make use of.

Stirling City itself is a Post-Apocolypic Dysotopia ruled by a "Council" of Leaders who are much like the old US Government with a Mayor and elected officials but rule under thier own set of rules.

Many gangs rule the streets and undergrounds.

Dominion: Tank Police is also a major influence for this idea.

I'm also currently creating a cyberpunk city for my mod. The first thing you would want to do is decide if you want to use custom assets or "creatively" combine or retexture vanilla assets. For me, my team put together a wide variety of transparent signs to plop all over the place. All original work. Same goes for buildings. If you have the modelling skills, go for it. If not, but have the retexturing skills, try redoing the FO3 buildings in your bsa and add an environmental map to get that nice reflection off your structures.

Once you have the essentials like signs, buildings, street props and consoles, etc, start cluttering in your favorite cyberpunk structure. I even have scripted flying pods cycling through my airways. Between Mothership Zeta and OWB assets, you should have enough resources to make some creative things while also having an origninal look.

Oh, and weather and climate. Ambiance and color tone has a bigger impact on the environments one creates than one may realize!

I'm saying all this not in the tutorial manner but just as a suggestion. Hope you can make something good!

Im firtsly making use of the current Vanilla buildings and street layout. Its going to be block by block, about the same size as freeside but cluttered as you said with the many uses of tech and screens.

Already done the basic Police armor and main choice of weapons.

In short, I am creating a CyberPunk inspired City;

Its 4 times bigger currently than Freeside and will have walk ways, bars, shops, a major Police Station and apartments, not to count a large NPC population.

I really need some feedback on its layout and general design as well as the idea itself.

I also need somebody to help with the City design bits as I am a bit stumped on design layout

Itf you like what you see, just leave a comment or PM me for the esp, it is 129 kbs big and the mod only requres that you have the base copy of steam, no DLCs added as of yet.
