viktorsmedslund Posted November 12, 2016 Posted November 12, 2016 I'm unable to download mods from nexusmods.com via the Nexus Mod Manager. (Manual installation works fine but I dislike that option greatly, I only really use it as a last resort) After researching for 3-4 hours I finally broke down and decided to ask for help on the forums. I'm using verison 0.63.7 of Nexus Mod Manager and, in terms of browsers, I've tried both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, neither of them did what I hoped for, which was using that big green button to download mods. So, if anyone has any idea of how I could fix this issue of mine, I'd appreciate any help available! :smile: If any more information could be helpfull, I'll be happy to give it to you.
twiztedmongoloid Posted November 12, 2016 Posted November 12, 2016 nexus probably disabled the feature again this weekend due to server overload from the new special edition. weekends are the busiest time since most people are off work. Both MO and NMM need to communicate with the server to login and use the big green button and get mod info. so downloading manually is the only workaround until nexus turns it back on. (likely monday) NEXUS IMPROVE YOUR f***ing SERVERS SO THIS IS NO LONGER AN ISSUE. I AM PAYING FOR SOMETHING I CANT EVEN USE FULLY.

You just have to put the mods on the installation folder and open the NMM and your mods will appear under the unassigned tab, which is the same as if you DLed them. You can install the same way, and it works, wha'ts the problem then ? You don't need to install manually your files.
