stashing loot in Oscuro's chests

In the readme he says,

 

"As of version 1.3, more than 2,200 hand‐placed containers have been added to the world... These containers have a special characteristic. They never respawn their contents once you have opened them and stolen whatever was inside them."

 

I sure sounds like I can store my loot safely in these modded chests without it ever disapppearing.

 

What I'd like to know is if OOO prevent all chests from respawning, or if not, how can I tell if a chest is one of Oscuro's and safe to store my stuff in?

There's a mod which adds a spell that tells you if the container is safe or not.
