blacksword6868
Hi everyone. Newbie modder here looking for some advice on how to deal with this issue. I created a Breezehome basement mod (can be found here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3569/?), where I basically moved some stuff around in order to sneak in a small basement staircase. Seems simple enough, but the problem is this table right here: Notice that it's right over the basement entrance I just made, which, well, sucks  Normally it shouldn't be that way, as I moved it a bit to the right to accommodate for the basement entrance. I can move it around in CK, but if the mod is loaded into an existing save where the player has already adopted a kid, the change to the table's position does not get applied since the table is actually tagged with a locational ref for the BYOH adoption quests, which makes it a persistent object. Obviously, I can't just move it out of the way and place a new table there, since the existing saves already have the table tied to the quest. Deleting the table is not an option as well since it will break the adoption quest. I found a thread (https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1797225-moving-quest-related-static-items/) which I think discusses the same issue that I have, but it looks like the question wasn't resolved. So I'm reaching out to the veterans out here who might know how to deal with quest-essential objects like these. chazzranger
Ditto, I'd love to know this too. I'm (re)creating my Breezehome mod and wondering what to do with quest-related items. I'm willing to break the Breezehome component of the Adoption quest, just not sure how to rearrange the quest line to do so before I start deleting stuff...
