Kiaksar2142
Hi guys! First of all i want to say that i have strong gaming PC at home which can run almost anything on ultra! However as i travel a lot i love to play on the go on my surface pro 3!I have Microsoft Surface Pro 3 with Core i7-4650U 3.3ghz intel hd 5000 and 8gb ramI know that remastered skyrim is really differs from vanilla skyrim, but still i wanted to ask!I can play vanilla skyrim on my surface pro 3 without any problem. getting 40+ fps on medium settings.I can also play fallout 4 on this little machine with 25-35 fps!It has a small issue with throttling, so i use a small usb fan on my surface which helps to reduce the throttling to minimum so i can play comfortable =)I asked this question on steam forums and i got replies like: go kill yourself. trash your microsoft garbage get a normal computer and so on.SO i decided to ask you before i buy my Skyrim remastered, will i be able to run it on my surface pro? at least on minimum settings?Thank you very much in advance! goranpaa
Yes, probably you will be able to do that. Just exsperiment with the settings.
saurusmaximus
The only issue I can see is your integrated graphics. I'm not sure they will be up to the task, as SE is a lot more demanding visually. On the other hand, I've also seen several people whose system is below the "minimum" standards Bethesda set for the game and were still able to play on medium settings. My gut tells me if you can run FO4, you should be alright with SSE.
Kiaksar2142
Yeah i have seen many reports here and there on internet that Skyrim SE having problems launching on systems with integrated graphics.that is the only issue that worries me =/ I really hope Bethesda will make a patch or fix to this issue after all!Fallout 4 is more hard on system requirements than Skyrim SE. so technically its possible to play Skyrim SE on surface pro 3 with core i7. P.S.usually standard system requirements that devs are announcing are not "accurate".for example i can even run Battlefield 4 on my machine. according to system requirements, i shouldn't be able even launch the game =D but i can play it with normal fps. only problem with Surface pro 3 and 4 is the throttling. but i can avoid it by undervolting machine and using small usb fan directed to the back of my tablet. it really helps. =)o
Kiaksar2142
By the way, which game is more "heavy"?Skyrim SE? or Fallout 4?Thanks in advance)
L3s7ing
Fallout 4 should be the heavier game. (of course depending on your ingame settings, but at max it's Fallout 4) Edited November 16, 2016 by L3s7ing
