SSE We need a mod to change npc/follower hairstyles and appearance.

Are you asking for a mod that replaces a follower's appearance with a better one that the mod author has chosen (install and admire), or are you asking for a mod that lets you vary a follower's appearance to your own satisfaction (with sliders and whatnot) ?

The second one. I don't know if this is possible without SKSE and MCM. I really hate the standard hairstyles of some npc's and followers.

Yes there already is one. Total Character Makeover. It's already ported and I've tested it and they look fairly close to vanilla with obvious hair improvements. For now it is a great addition already doing what is asked for. Later it can be used with other overhauls too. I use one with Men of Winter for regular Skyrim.

Yeah, but Total Character Makeover is an overhaul of all Skyrim npc's right? I meant a mod that let you change individual npc's without the use of the CK.
