Snacko00
So I've got SkyUI installed, as well as the SKSE, but do I need to run the Skyrim with SKSE .exe in order to use it, or should I use the original .exe?
scrivener07
For now on launch the game with the SKSE loader.exe. Right click the loader and make a shortcut to your desktop. Then right click your new shortcut and go to properties to change the icon to the Skyrim icon by navigating to your skyrim.exe and choosing that. The shortcut will now have the Skyrim icon. Now rename the short to "Skyrim SKSE" or similar. These steps are extra and just make the icon look nice. enjoy
BigBodZod
Another option would be to use the Nexus Mod Manager and use the SKSE Loader option there, also note this wonderful tool supports mods like SkyUI and will inform you when you launch it if any of the installed MOD's have updates :)
Snacko00
I've got NMN, and love it. Applying and managing mods has never been more efficient. Thank you. And if I run it with SKSE I don't have to go through Steam's startup process every time I run the game. This was a big help.
