yauster
Hi, Please see my pic below, When I am in any power armor the PIP boy is way to bright, cant read any of the tabs/buttons/stats. Any ideas how to fix this?
damanding
What mods are you using? Especially point out any mods that modify the UI in general or the Pipboy. Also have you recently adjusted monitor brightness settings?

ma1025
The Power Armor's Pip-Boy interface is naturally over-bright (though it shouldn't be that bright). Give Power Armor Map Fix a try. Edited November 17, 2016 by ma1025
damanding
It doesn't sound like it should be the cause, but sometimes you'd be surprised. I'd test it without the widescreen mods.
ma1025
You didn't mention having an ENB setup but it could also be a combination of both the Pip-Boy's PA interface being overly bright and the effects of an ENB causing even more brightness. jaderiver
Im currently using that mod, and dont notice much difference , I use google map mod but the whiteness is still to bright even with mod active ,it doesn't dull the brightness or icons and roads like it does in the screenshots whilst in power armor o_o , and I even added that line to "pipboy" ini.. chucksteel
These are .ini settings that control the color and brightness of the Power Armor HUD. [Pipboy] fPAEffectColorB=0.4200 fPAEffectColorG=0.9900 fPAEffectColorR=0.4900 I don't know the Vanilla Orange numbers but this is for a default green. if you want to make it darker just lower the numbers, I've taken fPAEffectColorG=0.9900 down to about fPAEffectColorG=0.7900 and had good results. Note the PA colors are not in the DEFAULT .ini and need to be added. If you want to match the color of your Pip-Boy look up. [Pipboy] fPipboyEffectColorB=0.0900 fPipboyEffectColorG=1.0000 fPipboyEffectColorR=0.0800 In your Fallout 4 custom.ini to get the correct numbers.
