nlee Posted February 27, 2008 Share Posted February 27, 2008 Hello guys, I installed the mod called "CM Partners Mod", and it works very well. I created a custom partner, and it works well too. My problem is, I'd like to create a partner who is a mystic elf, from Ren's beauty pack mod. But whenever I try to make one, after I save and close the tesc, and then re-open the file, the physical characteristics aren't recorded and the guy ends with random race, eyes, and no hair. I load oblivion, cm partner and ren's data, I save on a new esp file, so I don't get it... I remember I had made something similar for Morrowind and everything went pretty well. LFact Posted March 6, 2008 Share Posted March 6, 2008 If you want to make a plugin that uses another plugin as reference, you should do like: 1. Convert reference plugin(custom race, resource, whatever) to master(.esm).2. Open the new master via CS.3. Make something, then save it as a plugin.4. Edit the master list of the new plugin. In the master list, change the .esm to .esp.5. Now the plugin will have another plugin as its master. TES4Gecko or Wrye Bash will be useful for that.
