Shacks210
I'm looking t have a mod that has Sanctuary walled in with the concrete barbed wire walls. That is all. I want to do the rest of the building to the area myself. I just can't get the walls because of the ground sucking.
Athanasa
There's a mod that adds snap points to the junk walls which really helps. Can't remember what it is right now, and phone hates Nexus.
vonBennett
Is this what you are looking for (see attached photo)? If so, use the concrete wall sections from the workshop. Snap the wall sections together and then manipulate their location (if needed) by using console commands. Use 'modpos x, y, z' to make minor location adjustments; open console and click on object them type the command. z moves things up and down; x and y move them side by side; a negative value moves the object you click on in opposite direction. Example: modpos z 25 (moves object 25 places up) ; modpos y 25 (moves object 25 on y axis) modpos y -25 (moves object back 25 on y axis). You can also change angle on the z axis to make minor direction changes to your wall (modangle z 25( change direction of object by 25 degrees) then you can move section to tie back into your wall by adjusting using modpos). I have 15 settlements (including Sanctuary Hills) that have walls; building more as I go. It takes a little practice but I can build them fast and efficient now. Sorry for the small photo I attached but it will only allow me to load a 250kb so I had to crop a lot out of the original to get the file down to size. I hope this helps?? vonBennett
Okay... Let's see: 1) Reference attached photo. Is this the type of walls you want around your Sanctuary Settlement? 2) If they are not, are you referring to the walls like the ones around Covenant? 3) Are you using a PC? (not an x-box or the like) 4) If you are indeed using a PC, then are you aware of console commands? Let me know.

vonBennett
Okay, There is a mod that I use that has the Covenant walls available (located within the fence category in Workshop); Settlement Supplies Expanded by Troy Irving. If you decide to download an use it, then try building the walls around Sanctuary yourself. Like I said, you can use the console commands to make fine adjustments on the wall sections as you are building it. Click on a piece and the use one of the commands I showed you previously. These commands will allow you to make the necessary adjustments like when you are building your wall up or down a slope (click on and adjust wall section by using modpos z then value) Also you can make minor changes in the direction of your wall (modangle z then value') and then move the two ends together by clicking on a wall section and manipulating it to fit (modpos x then value and/or modpos y then value). I am sure there is other ways to build walls but this is how I do it and it works very well. Here is a link that has some more information about using the console commands: Look under: Items, world, and target/reference manipulation http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_4_console_commands As always be careful when using them and save often in case you make a mistake. Good luck.
jimmygitto
I walled in my Sanctuary with the mod vonBennett is talking about, if you want to see it I uploaded a couple photos to my profile page. I also tried to post the pics here but the 250kb limit is annoying.I used the 1x1 concrete foundations (another mod) to make a level base, so they'd snap easily and be straight. You can also use those to make a walking platform behind the wall, or turret stands. Didn't take too long, actually, and I'm pretty happy with it. I have four lockable gated entries. May post some more photos later.

How did you get the pieces to do that? I already have the covenant wall through Homemaker mod. Do you have or know of a video I could watch to show me or anything?
