Arena doesn't start/Announcer won't talk

Hello,

I'm getting crazy with this bug,I went to the arena,joined the faction,said "Ready for Match" then I entered in the arena itself but I can't fight,the announcer doesn't say anything.I tried to TCL and kill the opponent but it doesn't work.

PS:It's the first match

Have a look at the UESP Wiki page for the Arena here.

 

My guess would be you either aren't wearing the proper arena armor or are trying to start a match during the times that there are no matches available.

I'm wearing the armor and the time is correct(9am to 9pm).Unfortunately I can't find anything useful on the UESP page.

Only other thing I can think of is timescale ... have you used the console to "set timescale to x" to anything other than vanilla (but I have no clue if this would cause what you are experiencing).

No I wasn't suggesting you do that as a fix (for the record "set timescale to 30" without the quote marks will set the game's timescale back to vanilla) ... I wondered if you had used the console to set the timescale to something other than vanilla (timescales other than vanilla are known to cause problems with certain quests).

Oh sorry that's my bad.I've tried with a different psave,it doesnt work.Ive tried to disable some mods but I cant think which one bugs the arena.Does seamless equip bug these quests?

No, Seamless is just meshes and textures. When I looked through your load order nothing jumped out at me, but there are some mods there I'm not familiar with. I think what you are looking for is something that has a quest that somehow affects the Arena quest ... but that is just stating the obvious really.

 

I don't know if TES4Edit would be of any help tracking down something like that, all I've ever used it for is finding NPC AI overrides and similar type things, plus fixing some kerfluies I've had while working in the Construction Set (generally resetting something's postion).

 

- Edit - Do any of your mods affect/replace the Arena armor?

There aren't any errors regarding the arena scripts,doors and "Arena Mouth" NPC.I don't know what is going on.

 

PS:only male body replacer does something with the armors but they are meshes/textures.

I think I found the problem....

I disabled 3 mods: Shadowmourne Colormania,The Forgotten Dungeon and The Underking...Doing so I fixed the problem :DDDD

I just need to find from these mods the bugged one and i'm fine...

By the way thanks anyway for the help :D
