sbdrag Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 Hi, I'm sbdrag. If you've seen my username anywhere else, it's probably still me, so feel free to let me know. I am a huge BioWare fangirl, but I play a lot of different games - fantasy RPGs (particularly ones where you can customize the main character) are my favorites, though. I like games like civilization but I'm not really good at them, and tend to play warriors with two handed weapons because I like hitting things in my video games. My primary love is writing, which I do use for video game fanfiction on occasion - but lately I have been working on original stuff. Just kind of browsing the forums and thought I'd introduce myself, so - hello, world!
Rabbit1251 Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 Welcome aboard, sbdrag!! It's always nice to see another woman getting involved with gaming. Long ago when I worked for Babbage's/GameStop one of our most popular game titles was "Barbie anything". Were they good games? I don't know. But the reason that they were so popular was that they were some of the very few titles geared for females so they sold well. Very well. I always found that to be quite sad. Things are a little better today. Mrs. Rabbit has played Oblivion and I just got her into the Fallout series starting with 3. As for me I have played with "Cats II" and had a ball with the "American Girls" software title (got my copy in the tin box, too). So, come on in and have fun. You'll find a boatload of helpful people here. As you are into writing you might check out "Druid's Garden" (https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/53-druids-garden/) here on the site. Remember to enjoy yourself!! The Rabbit
sbdrag Posted November 21, 2016 Author Posted November 21, 2016 (edited) Thank you for the welcome! I actually played some of the Barbie games growing up - Super Spy, Skate Park (or was it about an aquarium with a skating mini game?), Dance Studio, and something that was underwater - about Atlantis, I think? Anyway, they were all fun games at the time - not sure I would still enjoy them today, ha ha. I've played a bit of Fall Out and Fall Out 4, and both are pretty fun. Never even heard of "Cats II", what's that about? And I didn't know the American Girls line had software, I'll have to look it up. And I will check out the forum, thanks!
