Thetictacking Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 I have had a problem when trying to activate certain through NMM where it will get to around 70-90% completion and then it will fail and this message will pop up: "A problem occurred during install:Access to the path 'c:\Games\Nexus mod manager\Skyrim\Mods\cache\[Mod name]\Data\fomod\info.xml' is denied.The mod was not installed."This has only happened to several mods, most work fine.I have tried running NMM as administator, manually giving passage by changing the properties and security of this path, uninstalling and reinstalling both steam and NMM and making sure both are outside of the program files folder but none have worked. I cant find any resolutions on any forums that have worked either and now I am out of ideas. If you can help that would be awesome. Thanks.
Kroekr Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 Some of the larger mods need to be installed manually. I did not have this problem with that mod though. Try defragging then re-attempt.

Kroekr Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Have you tried a manual download then manually adding the mod to NMM (Green plus sign in top left corner), then trying to install? NMM could be messing up during the download and corrupting the file.
