PixelatedGamer98
I dont know if its just me or anyone else but i cant get nmm to install most fnv mods correctly, it wont install NMC texture pack project nevada or anything with a scripted installer, I am running the latest version of nmm. I think this problem started just before fallout 4 came out and just blamed it on out of date mods but im seeing people who can install them without problems, if you know how to fix that would be great i really want to go play a fallout that is a rpg not a linear shooter. This is not a game problem, but a Nexus Mod Manager problem and should be reported here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/439-open-beta-feedback/
dubiousintent
When you say "scripted installer", you have to distinguish between a "windows installer" app or a script for a particular mod manager. If the script is not specific to NMM, then it most likely won't work correctly. Pay attention to the install instructions on the Nexus download page. That should tell you which mod manager the author wrote the script for use with. You also need to pay particular attention to where the contents are supposed to be installed. Virtually all mod managers assume the install contents are to "Data", and this is correct for the majority of mods that are not "tools" (i.e. NVSE or FNVEdit or the like). If the mod says it needs to be installed to some other location, then don't use the mod manager, but "manually install" instead. -Dubious- Edited November 21, 2016 by dubiousintent
PixelatedGamer98
By scripted installers i mean the ones that come with the mod that help you select options and what not some of them dont work for a few mods, and problems with NMC texture pack is it won't show the window as shown in the installation notes for nmm when installing other parts of it. dubiousintent
Then as M48A5 suggested, it needs to be reported to NMM support. Sounds like they broke script compatibility. -Dubious-
PixelatedGamer98
yeah i though that aswell me and friend a while ago came to roughly the same conclusion that it might have been broken due to them updating NMM for fallout 4, but i would have thought it might have been fixed but ill go post on the bug page for NMM thanks.
