billyro
The fact that they are repetitive and of little variety, and some of them look very bad.
KratosAurion777
I don't dislike them entirely, but these are the things that bother me about them the most: 1) They are random and can happen at any time. 2) They take no skill or input to perform. 3) They can take the fun out of a fight. 4) They can kill you when your at 70% hp without any warning. The main problem i have is when i am in a tough battle, where we are both neck-and-neck and be cheated of my glory by the autonomous random finishing moves. There is little satisfaction in fights that end that way. It Happen when the potential Dmg of a power attack his higher than your health . For be simple , it's a power attack you can't dodge , Deal with it i think it had difficulty When you use difficulty mod , Otherwise They are some mod that put them off . Scorpio9
1. they are repetitive 2. only few for each weapon (2h weapons less, bow none) 3. they should be always on when slaying dragon otherwise it's not that epic 4. ending animation sucks, it's not refined enough, (player roughly returns in his former position after performing finishing move)
Mrouu
I haven't seen a cinematic since the first "tutorial kinda" dungeon. You don't have any finishing moves when playing mage/archer. People who don't want to see anymore finishers, you know what to do^^.
Matth85
A) Because the damn 2 handed warriors and dragons does a finisher move on my mage at 90% health. and B) Because they are repetive. I get bored of it after a few thousand times.
AlfarinIcebreaker
I like them, but I resent the fact that there are too few of them. I just beat the game with my 2h Nord Warrior, and there were only 2 types of finishers for his Battleaxe - head chop and that default jump - slash which got pretty boring after awhile. Also, warhammers share the same animations with battleaxes (I think it's the same case with maces and waraxes) which is not really immersive - I mean decapitation with a hammer (WTF?). Greatswords have that gut stab - lift and decapitation and that's it. I think one handed weapons have more finishers - war axes and maces had 3 IIRC while sword/dagger had the most - I think it was 5 including assassination animation. All in all, it is a welcome addition but it could've been much better, IMO. It would be nice if we could get finishers for mage and archer characters. crudius
i dont mind them, but the ones using a baxe against bears and tigers looks rubbish.
Seviche
I think they're a good compromise from the "Cinematic Kills in VATS" that NV had, which was highlighted by a pointless slo-mo kill... while your enemies all ran around like normal and could even shoot at you. Nothing like seeing the end of a slo-mo kill AND watching the grenade that was going to kill you, when the scene ended, bounce up to you in super-awesome slo-mo. Which is the reason I stopped using VATS. Well, that and you didn't really need VATS. I thought I'd hate them in Skyrim, but they're kinda fun. I really only like them when I'm playing a dagger assassin. As stated above, the fact that the 2-h hammer and axe share the same animations is maddening. You don't decapitate someone with a hammer. Seriously. Goddam Bethesda and their "Good Enough" shortcuts.

scot
I like the finnishing moves but sometimes I press attack and my character doesn´t attack for like 5 seconds and then enters the finishing move scene. This bug sucks as I died within those 5 seconds cause I couldn´t move and the game didn´t start the finnishing move on time -.-
