eregor2
I've purchased a manor in Anvil for 5k, is there a way to restore it? Because it's in a desolated way but I've read of a fighters stronghold which look much more interesting but I'read you must install some mod, I'm not familiar with mods and I fear the game might not work after, I have experienced the bad way with the Unofficial patch my game refused to work after, I've uninstalled it so my game could work again. Anyway I'm on windows 7 and I've installed the latest patch for the game, if there's no danger intalling mods to enhance my gameplay, let me know what's best and I will try it thanks for any help Richard Edited December 27, 2011 by eregor2
ysne58
I don't see anything about this on the Nexus wiki. The UESPWiki link for Benirus Manor is here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Benirus_Manor

If your game didn't work after installing it, it means you either installed it wrong, or perhaps ran into the UAC issue with Windows Vista/7. But regardless, you will have far more headaches without it than with it. As for Benirus manor, there's a quest associated with it, check your log. Gremxula
It can be a good base camp for most of the game. So well worth the trouble .

Mortrix927
To answer the original question: Benirus manor is part of vanilla oblivion, although there are mods to adjust it if you'd like. In order to get your manor restored, you need to do a quest. Speniding the night in the manor (sleeping required) is the first step in said quest. eregor2
thanks finally I've made the quest and the manor is a new house. I don't see anything about this on the Nexus wiki.
