adrios1
Would be funny/ cool if someone made Liberty Prime sound like bender from Futurama. Would love to here "Bite my shinny metal ass" while he throws nukes. ;)
Ethreon
Would be funny to see that person get a warning/ban for copyright strike too, huh?
adrios1
Would be funny to see that person get a warning/ban for copyright strike too, huh?I'm assuming no, but not a modder don't know the official rules. If it gets someone in trouble then forget the suggestion.
adrios1
Would be funny to see that person get a warning/ban for copyright strike too, huh?Quick question, how would it be any different than say creating outfits that are part of a copyrighted character??? I can think of a Misty (pokemon), Quiet (metal Gear), and a few dead space bodysuit mods that would qualify as infringing on a copyright. just wondering how one infringement is ok, but another gets someone banned? Ethreon
Unless you're re-recording the voice lines, it is. Even so they can still come and tell you not to use it. Very simple.

Very simple. That doesn't really answer my question. I was wondering why audio ( Bender's voice) use would equal a ban, but using graphic visual recreations (mainly clothing, some weapons) from an existing copyright is ok? Any and all mods that take from the Intellectual Property of an existing product could technically be subject to removal if someone wanted to split hairs about the criteria.
