Gottfridsson
How is it that everyone simply accepts being robbed and attacked? I want judiciary action and payment from society! I clean a bandit camp by myself and my reward is XP and loot, where is the society why is there no appreciation/reward? Someone robbed me I manage to not kill them and there is no gurad ready to pay bounty?!?! Every time this happens I'm annoyed to such a limit that I try to start CK. Something is broken for me it NEVER starts and my modding career is dead.. this is my mission and need but the tool don't work. Been giving up on this many times and simply stopped playing skyrim many times. After some googling I found a mod that does what I want, capture robbers and attackers and get bounty, this one even let me fetch the ppl from the waring parties and sell to the other war mongering faction all is great. Sadly it's the SL/LL "defeat" mod and after a few frustrating hours it's as usual with SL stuff... The actual game breaks. Strange that 200 mods from nexus can work while 5 from LL breaks the game (without most of the 200 nexus ones). It's easy to say "lore friendly coz it's a hard justice system ruled by the sword", but that is simply not compatible with even having guards around cities... Why won't they pay me a reward when I do their job? The one mod I found fixing this (along with it's requirements) broke my game as usual. <10 nexus mods and ~10 smut mods that was required, game broken before i was lvl 3... This annoys me so much I'll rage out here for a bit then play minecraft :-D Simply don't have the energy to try CK again. How hard can it be for a former coder to figure out what LL Defeat does in regards to bounty stuff? All pro's here would do it very fast, me being noob in this "language" would do it badly in a month maybe... simply don't have the energy sadly :-/
iXenite
Defeat certainly has some interesting concepts to it that would overhaul the justice system in Skyrim. Sadly, as you said, it isn't always stable. The problem with LoversLab mods is not that they're worse than Nexus mods, but they do require a lot of scripting and that bogs down your whole system - and can has some effects on your save and overall game stability. I believe the only person that could change how Defeat works though would be the person behind Defeat itself. Consider contacting the mod author over on LoversLab with your idea.
