mgordon
There are significantly more than in Oblivion its just a shame most are Dutch sounding it makes all characters sound the same and one sounds like Soild Snake which is REALLY annoying. Sean Bean should have done the voice for a dragon aswell would have sounded great! I dont have a clue of any of these 'famous' voice actors are in Skyrim a waste of money in employing them! Perhaps I shouldn't, but I still took offence of your statement. "Dutch sounding" equals blandness and makes characters sound like "soild snake"? :(I know I shouldn't have to come to anyone's defense, as they can take care of themselves, but how did you come to this stretch of a conclusion? You're taking your offense to the point of not even realizing what had been said. It almost makes you seem like you wanted to be offended, just so you can say you were. He said, MOST of the characters sound Dutch, which makes them sound the same. Then he goes on to saying, ONE of the characters sounds like Solid Snake, which makes that particular character annoying. Now, what is offensive here?

Anyway offering an English accent over here, I can do posh, normal English and will try a" blimey govener" type if ya like!
PrometheusV
I just say 1 word: Dee Bradley Baker That voice actor is incredible, he even does animals, monsters and ambient sounds, beside of 20 or more different voices http://www.deebaker.com/
Pineapplerum
Oh, I could do animal sounds. I'd be better at that than voice acting. So if you need a mooer or a woofer, I can do that! I say, why not just revoice everything in Skyrim. Do little froggy ribits, crow cawling and grasshopper chirps, you know, the works. That would be totally awesome. I think we should do this and get totally carried away with it. Throw ourselves into it. We'll call it the NexusForum voice mod. It'll be great. Sought after world wide.

PrometheusV
Just trying to look serious:Is there any .nfo or .txt with all (non quest) dialog ?
csgators
I can live with the lack of unique voices, it's the lack of unique dialog that drives me nuts. Why hire different actors to read the same lines? I hate how all the Jarls use the same lines and all the guards use the same line with different voices! Why? They really couldn't write unique lines for each voice actor? :verymad:
