Problem using the console to add floors

Hi.

I'm trying to refurbish Skyhaven Temple and make it into a player home but I've hit a big problem with the floors in the entrance courtyard.

Trying to use markfordelete on the random bushes and soil piles removes them but also part of the original paving.

I've tried using player.placeatme with various floor id codes. I can move them in, position them and set angles okay. The problem is that they do not behave as solids, as you can see from the dog sitting on the original ground beneath the floor slab.

Am I missing something simple here? It's as if there is never a collision plane associated with any of the floor types I try to use. Is this something that is added later?

Edit: Whoa, there! I must have got unlucky with my first floor pieces. I've since found a few codes that work and give a floor you can walk on...the only problem is I don't like any of them! I don't have the creation kit to view anything and I'm trawling down a list of several thousand static items trying to find ones that work and look right by trial and error...very tedious.

The problem is now much simpler. Can anyone recommend some stone floors that they've used, look tidy with no raised kerbs at the edge? nice and flat with no lumps or bits of moss or anything? I'll keep on trying and see if I can find anything good meantime.

Edit: Consider this sorted. I used the creation kit to find suitable floor base ID codes and realised that a save/reload is sometimes necessary if I'd moved the piece too much in-game to position it. The collision plane stays where the piece first loads into the game up until a reload. All is well!
