Fair enough. I suppose eventually I will have no choice but to learn FO4's mesmerisingly unintuitive tools. . .

I can sympathise when it comes to learning the tools. I've been using various tools for Bethsoft games for over a decade now (yeesh), and even with that, learning what I needed to be able to work on WARS took some doing. A lot of new stuff this time around (with FO4). We were pretty lucky with the last several games not only with the Construction Set wikis Bethsoft provided, but with how much information they put into them. That didn't really happen with the FO4 tools for whatever reason, making things much more difficult.

 

Anyway, like I said re: your Single Action Army, I think putting it up on the Nexus as a modder's resource will make it much more likely that someone will come along, see it, and want to do the implementation for you. Probably faster than having to wait for me to possibly have time for it somewhere down the road. ;) Up to you though, of course.

That looks pretty good, but I'm not planning to include an Ak 5 in WARS. (To be honest I haven't heard of them before, though I have heard of the FN FNC they're based on.)

 

 

As a general update; I've finished the UVs for the USAS-12 and its new attachments. Now I'm putting the finishing touches on the low- and high- poly models to prepare them for export, so I can get them into Substance Painter to do the baking and then finally texture them.

 

Edit: Except I just remembered that I haven't done the UVs for the magazines yet. Man, so many different parts; I keep forgetting some of them.

It was simply to show you the weapons, there are models that are incredible, while the AR15 is untouchable everything ok, hehe

The thing about alpha/preview versions is that if they're too early, you run the risk of people going "oh, is that all?", and never coming back again. And regardless of anything else, there's still a bunch of plugin work to do before WARS is ready for any kind of release.

 

Anyway, I talk a bit about the current plan for the first release on the previous page.

 

 

Speaking of the USAS-12 though, I've finished the baking now and am just touching a few of the bakes up a bit before starting on the textures.
