trandinise
Hey guys, so i recently decided to go back to Tamriel (last time i was there i used only Original DLCs, no custom mods). This time i decided to enhance my experience a little bit.My question is, why some of them fail to load? Are they incompatible? Im using Wrye Bash and Mod Organiser (and LOOT for load priority) to make things work and here is my boot priority from Mod Organiser:The only mods that can be seen ingame via MCM are:-Deadly Dragons-Enhanced Blood-Immersive Armors-SkyUII already tried to install some compatibility mods but they do not seem to change anything...I would be grateful if somebody told me what can i do...1. Should i reinstall skyrim and install those mods in some order?2. Or maybe i used too much mods? If so tell me which ones exclude others.3. Another question is: Why does my game show message on loading screen "The old Unoffical Skyrim Patch is still installed. Please remove this as it will damage your game!!!". Should I ignore it? I mean i tried to delete it but certain mods need it to start and game is insta crashing if i delete it.4. Last question: How can i check if all my mods loaded properly?Sorry if I made any mistakes, I'm not native speaker and it is late at night and I'm after an exhausting day, Thanku guys! EmissaryOfWind
Do they really have no effect? Not every mod has a MCM menu.
trandinise
Some of them do but for example Immersive Weapons should be in MCM(and it isnt) and for example Deadly Spell Impacts have broken texture (blue square).EDIT. I wonder how can i check for sure if they work or no... Edited November 26, 2016 by trandinise
trandinise
I've just decided to reinstall, and my question is Would you recommend using NMM or Mod Organiser? And what should be my optimal installation priority? -> Mod Organiser/NMM ->Unofficial Patches -> Bash -> everything else or -> Mod Organiser/NMM -> Unofficial Patches -> everything else -> Bash, I always install master mods first too.EDIT. Oh and do I need to fix colliding Mods through TES5EDIT? If so, how do i do it? Edited November 26, 2016 by trandinise
Kroekr
Apparently the person that made MO has been hired to work on NMM so I don't think MO will be updated. Make sure you DO NOT install inside your program files directory as this will cause you headaches, self-inflicted bald patches, and UAC issues. lazloarcadia
TRUE! I've always been told to install directly to the C drive (unless you have another drive dedicated for games, etc), but to never install directly into your Program Files. While I don't understand why, I can say it seems to fall under the heading of "best practices".
