SkyrimFan0
I need to find good locations to train because I want to do the main quest and the college of winterhold quests after I've unlocked the expert and master conjuration and destruction spells. I play on Expert and want to switch to Master before I visit the greybeards and explore the Sarthal ruins. So far all I've done is two side quests (promises to keep & golden claw), all civil war quests (twelve of them), the first four main quests, and the first college of winterhold quest. And I've done about a dozen bounty quests and only one miscellaneous objective: helping shadr in riften. I've killed about a dozen dragons too but I'm tired of waiting for them to appear. Right now I'm level 17, Breton, and Conjuration/Destruction/Alteration are in the low 50s. Speech is in the low 40s and everything else is well below 30. And I've been playing for about 24 hours now. shadow56
Well if you want to hone your mage skills then College of Winterhold is the place to do that. For lockpicking, pickpocketing, archery and sneak the Thieves Guild in Riften. For two handed weapons, heavy armor, smithing, block, one handed weapons, and archery the Companions Guild in Whiterun. For sneak, one handed weapons, archery, smithing and light armor the Dark Brotherhood. For speech increases the Bards College in Solitude. You can also get a boost in many of your skills by completing their 4 quests. The more dungeon diving and cave exploration you do the better chance of finding skill books. Most quests also have a skill book lying around somewhere in the quest. Just do sidequests or switch to master now. Everything harder to kill = more skillups per opponent. If your playing a mage, get deadly dragons mod. Gives them a LOT more hitpoints and magic defense, so you have something to shot at for a while. Made 2 Skillpoints on one dragon in the 90s.
