geekminxen
I'd like to make a couple of Diamond City signs craftable in the workshop, but they don't appear in the "Created Objects" dropdown list in the Constructible Object window. I've searched the kit and online looking for how to add them, but without luck. Does anyone know how to add items to that dropdown? Edit: Never mind. I just duplicated an item that was already on the dropdown list and pointed its model to the .nif of the sign I wanted to make craftable.

When making the contsructible, make sure you duplicate/edit a constructible object item that is in the same category of the workshop menu as the item you want to add. That way it will have the correct keyword to put it in the right category. You can also modify the recipes if you want. All the basic building blocks like steel, plastic, glass, etc. are named like c_glass, c_steel, etc. Depending on the type of sign it may need the mesh edited to add snap points if you want it to hang on a wall. Otherwise people will have to use Place Everywhere to hang it on a wall. By default I think it only builds on the ground without snap points added or an actor value like "workshopanythingisground" added.
