Since my gpu broke,

I am considering on buying new graphic card.

So it is either 1050ti or rx 470 or 1060 3 GB ( really not sure about this one ).

Both 1050ti and rx 470 have 4GB of vram.

Will that one gb of vram make a difference if i want to heavy mod the game.

In my country i have to pay additional 45-50$ to get 1060 3GB.

So is it worth picking the 1060 3GB despite it having less ram then rx 470 and 1050ti.

Thanks for the info.

Cheers,

If you want to do a lot of texture mods and/or enb, get as much VRAM as you can (4GB is the max if you're on Windows 8/10). Personally, I think the RX470 is probably the best value of the 3 you listed; yeah the 1060 is faster, but it's also $100 more and you get less VRAM.

Good, i was thinking that 4GB is too little.

Another question.

I was looking on the requirements on 32 bit and 64 bit skyrim

Is it better to use 64 bit or 32 bit version as baseline ?

HD texture pack for 32 bit version have 1 GB of Vram requirement as recommended.

64 bit version have 3 GB of Vram as recommended.

From those specs i would choose 32 bit version, but i may be wrong, what do you think ?

You just had to go and complicate things, didn't you?

The whole 32vs64 thing really boils down to personal preference. 64bit is superior in that there is no memory cap to worry about (my above comment about max VRAM being 4GB only applies to the 32 bit version), so it's somewhat less crash-prone than the original; though people are still managing to wreck it. 32bit is superior in that there are still way more mods available, and ENB choices are awesome (64bit ENB is kinda lame right now). So, visually, there is no comparison.

As to your texture mod question, if you went with one of the cards you listed, I think you'd be fine with the 64bit version, just so long as you don't go crazy installing a whole bunch of other texture mods too. Remember, that recommendation is just that; a recommendation. You could probably get by on 2GB VRAM, you'd just have a lot more stutter in your game.
