GreatLucifer
Actually, his name is Behemecoatyl :ninja: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7Y_Zm2bXmY And yes, this would be completely awesome. But I don't think it can be done. As a matter of fact, I think that's the reason it hasn't been done before too.

Rennn
Skyrim has a different engine, and Script Dragon for C++ injecting. I can't be certain it's possible, and I can't be certain it's not. I know it's not possible for Morrowind. As for Oblivion, LAN would at least be easier than true online, and more stable (by far), if it's possible at all. Septfox
Newer revisions of the Gamebryo engine do apparently have the facilities for network play (Ragnarok Online 2, the crappy new typical-MMORPG version as opposed to the older version which had its own custom engine, uses Gamebryo), so it's certainly possible. The problem is, Oblivion runs on a fairly ancient version of it, so almost all of said facilities would have to be created from scratch. Trying to rip it from newer engine revisions would not only be very unlikely to work without heavy modification, the person doing it would probably get sued for their entire lineage's worth+ :v So yea. If you can find someone willing to do all the coding that's been done for the newer engine revisions, only not get paid for it like the hired coders did, then you too can have a multiplayer-enabled Oblivion.
