ZachRadford
Hi everybody, let me start by saying thank you for taking the time to look at my post. For this post, I will provide full details on the processes I conducted along with a TL;DR version at the end. So, now onto the issue. Whilst browsing the nexus for Skyrim SE mods today, I came across the 2017 texture pack and decided to download and install them; however, when trying to install I found that I didn't have enough space on my SSD (I installed SSE on the SSD to keep loading times low). To resolve the lack of space issue, which would enable me to instal the 2017 textures, I moved my SSE install over to my second hard drive. Upon moving the SSE install location and attempting to designate the new install location in NMM I received a warning from NMM that my Skyrim.esm had not been copied over, therefore, I told steam to verify the integrity of my game cache so that it would download any missing files. Once the missing files were download and the new SSE install location was set in steam and NMM, I set about deactivating & uninstalling all of my mods and then reinstalled and reactivated them; I also redownloaded and activated all the mods I had installed from the in-game mod manager. This is where the issue begins. Upon launching my SSE save game with all my mods ready to go I received a warning that I have mods enabled and therefore achievements are disabled, which I thought was odd as I have the achievements enabler mod installed. When attempting to launch SSE I got a loading screen, however, the game CTD'd instantly after this completed. I reopened NMM and discovered that several of the mods I thought I had installed and enabled were disabled, a process that occurs every time I try to launch the game (and the subsequent CTD). If anyone has experienced this issue after changing Skyrim's install location and has a fix, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for the help. TL;DR:Ran out of space on SSD, moved SSE to HDDA bunch of files didn't copy so I got steam to redownload themSet new SSE install location in steam and NMMReinstalled and reactivated mods in NMM and in-game mod downloaderLaunched game and crashedMods in NMM are deactivatedMods deactivate every time I launch game, causing crash Edited November 28, 2016 by ZachRadford
Kroekr
I think SSE and NMM have to be on the same drive and not in the Program Files directory if you plan on doing any modding.

ZachRadford
I think SSE and NMM have to be on the same drive and not in the Program Files directory if you plan on doing any modding.Hi there, unfortunately, I am still experiencing CTDs. Although, my mods are staying enabled after launch now . Both my SSE and NMM install are on the same drive. http://i.imgur.com/ODOQV8b.png EDIT: Turns out NMM isn't actually installing any of the mods, according to LOOT that is. Gonna try a full reinstall of SSE, NMM and delete + redownload all mods. Edited November 28, 2016 by ZachRadford
Kroekr
Have you ran LOOT and Tes5Edit since the re-install?

ZachRadford
Have you ran LOOT and Tes5Edit since the re-install?Hey there, thanks for your help. As it turns out, NMM wasn't actually installing the mods before, god knows why. A full reinstall of the game, NMM and deletion + redownload and install of all my mods fixed my issue. Back to slaying some dragons for me :D.
