DivergentSpecies
I have downloaded the mod, which is in OMOD format, copied the mod to my OBMM mods folder, and run OBMM to activate, including running the ArchiveInvalidation. When I open Oblivion, the female bodies and faces stay the same without change. I thought maybe it only worked for new characters, so I tried making a new character and same reult, original Oblivion body & face. I have tried moving the ESP to the first to load after Oblivion, but no joy. I would really like to try this mode, but can't seem to get it to work unless I am missing something. Thanks for any help. LFact
No body replacer can change character face. Those replacer literally replaces body meshes, not base head meshes or head shapes generated via Facegen. If you have difficulty to apply body replacer, check: 1. Your OS.2. (If you're using Windows Vista or Seven) Directory where your game is installed.3. installed all mod resources correctly. And when you apply Archive Invalidation, make sure the method is BSA redirection(If you're on Steam, you may need to change stock BSA file dates). It works without messing anything. DivergentSpecies
Thanks for the reply IFact. My OS is Windows 7. Oblivion runs through Steam. The program is not installed on C: in the program files directory, but is installed on a separate partition where I install only games. I believe all the other mods (UOP, OOO, etc.) are installed and working properly. I run the Archieve Invalidation via the Utilities option under OBMM, so I don't understand the "BSA Redirection" advice - maybe you could comment on this so I have a better understanding of applying mods. Also, maybe you could explain how the the characters in the uploaded images for some of the face / body mods are modified from the vanila Oblivion faces. I would like to make the visual Oblivion playing experience more pleasant. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
LFact
In this game, facial shapes are determined by:1. Base head mesh. The popular custom meshes are Ren's(from Ren's Beauty Pack), idkrrr's(from his various race mods), and Head06. However, some popular races use stock head meshes.2. Racial base Facegen values which shape base facial features per each race. 3. Facegen values applied at in-game character creation(for PC), or applied via Construction Set(for NPC). And getting good texture will make difference.
