Thoreai
I really enjoyed the Thieves Guild quests. The Winterhold College quests... not so much. Why complain about the Bard's College though? It's not as if you bought the game expecting to defeat enemies with your lute. The Bards college is something that Bethesda didn't need to even put in the game at all. It's like getting an extra order of fries with your burger but then complaining that the fries didn't meet your standards. Be thankful you even got an extra helping of fries in the first place. It's not like Skyrim was advertised as the ultimate Bard College/learn musical instruments game.Jesus, whatever i just replied to the OP...not really feeling like dragging with you another 6 pages, thats how i feel about it..accept it or move along. okokokok
The best part would be how you subtly crafted the post to say you disliked the Bard's college, and then try to convince everyone that the entire game thus blows. Good show! For some reason this made me laugh hysterically when i read it. Thank you for analyzing my post in depth. Your review was most entertaining. what ever show you got from my post, yours was better. xDDD I confess I haven't done the bards college quests yet. Do it and you'll know why the straw breaks the camels back. Its a hugh f***ing straw.... ------------------- Honestly when i posted this i was pretty inebriated. And thus may have over reacted just a little. But the essence is true, skyrim was a let down because it's incomplete. They know that, you know that and I know that. And YES GOD DAMN IT I WANT TO PLAY THE LUTE! and i want epic bard powers to ensnare creatures and play lullabys for the enemy so they sleep during combat. abaris
Wow, I'll be sure to stay away from Bard's college. :C Luckily I'm a warrior. Wise decision. Better dream up some excellent addition to the guild world than to face the harsh reality in it's stark uglyness.
Arcadiast
wait, you did the Bards College after 150 hours? I think Bethesda did nothing wrong but set the priorities right or were you keeping "the best for the last"? yes I agree, the Bards College is a joke. There is little difference to any random Quest you get from any random NPC. Let alone the "Rewards" you dont really get. You can skip it and miss nothing. Would not want to hang the whole game onto this though. Skyrim is good with or without the Bards College. It is however a grand foundation to build on for modders. Just an example, once you finish the College, you get a "Magic Flute" with which you can play your own Music (which you have to put in some Folder first). elleonblanco
Yeah and you could fill that folder with Ian Andersen recordings. The Bard's College was lame. The best part was "You and me are the only ones around here that aren't idiots." So if that's the case then you explain to me why you walk around Solitude at mid day carrying a torch? Anyone that has done the quest will know who I am talking about.
