marcuos
Hello. Firstly please move this topic to a right section if it's in a bad one, and i apologize for that. Now, i've been playing Fallout 4 for long time and i was discovering and installing new mods to the game from time to time, but few days ago i accidentaly removed "plugins" txt file with all mods listed in it and i started the game. game has started like in one second, just without mods loaded, so i created a new one plugin and put all .esp and .esm in it. then i clicked the game and it got lagged for about 5 seconds, like always it has been when i was using mods. i opened windows task manager and i saw that there was one process called svchost.exe, created after i opened the game, i checked what service it was running and it was "WerSvc - Windows Error Reporting Service", and its also creating a security logon audit in Windows Event Viewer. it happens every time i open the game with many plugins actived. and i checked, i removed almost every .esp from it and left there about 3-5 and the game started normally. without logon audits and any processes in task manager. and it doesnt matter which mods. only when i have alot of mods in the plugin my game goes crazy at the start. long loading time and logon audits. i'm a bit sensitive about viruses and i wonder if it's not a mod doing something to my operating system so i came here to ask if it has to be like that, if its normal or it is not. my operating system is windows 7 64bit ultimatei bought the game on pc dvd, not digital. game version is 1.7.22.0i also dont use NMM, only manual install and these are the mods i am using:*DarkerNights.esp*CarryWeight99999.esp*timetravel.esp*HairVariations_Sophisticate.esp*HairVariations_YoungAtHeart.esp*HairVariations_Elegant.esp*HairVariations_Conversions.esp*Face Ripper Presets.23134A.23228D.esp*AzarPonytailHairstyles.esp*PMJ Radio.esp*synth-eyes.esp*Gen3Nick.esp*CBBE.esp*SpringCleaning.esm*CraftableAmmo.esp*CraftableAmmo_plus.esp*Homemaker.esm*Homemaker - SK Integration Patch.esp*Homemaker - Streetlights Use Passive Power.esp*SC_ExpandedScrapList.esp*KSHairdos.esp*fofw_BlakeAbernathy.esp*fofw_Colette.esp*fofw_ConnieAbernathy.esp*fofw_Desdemona.esp*fofw_ElliePerkins.esp*fofw_Hawthorne.esp*fofw_Horatio.esp*fofw_HoltCombes.esp*fofw_JunLong.esp*fofw_John.esp*fofw_KatyPinn.esp*fofw_KnightRhys.esp*fofw_LucyAbernathy.esp*fofw_RonnieShaw.esp*fofw_LucyAbernathy.esp*fofw_MacCready.esp*fofw_MamaMurphy.esp*fofw_MarcyLong.esp*fofw_PaladinDanse.esp*fofw_PrestonGarvey.esp*fofw_RonnieShaw.esp*PiperBeautyCV.esp*LovingCait_1.0.1.esp*ArmorKeywords.esm*AWKCR - Automatron.esp*AWKCR - Contraptions.esp*AWKCR - Far Harbor.esp*AWKCR - Nuka World.esp*AWKCR - Vault-Tec.esp*Crafting Workbench.esp*Crafting Workbenches - Ammo.esp*Crafting Workbenches - Ammo Expanded.esp*Crafting Workbenches - Ammo Special.esp*Crafting Workbenches - Junk Items.esp*crafting Workbenches - Power Armor.esp*Crafting Workbenches - Pre War and Manufactured.esp*USP 45.esp*The Rebel.esp*Companion Infinite Ammo.esp*Pip-Boy Flashlight.esp*Lots More Male Hairstyles.esp*FSC - Vanilla.esp*M2216.esp*R91M.esp*m82a.esp*SCAR-LK.esp*mk14.esp*mk14-awkcr.esp*Eli_ArmourCollection.esp*ModularKalash.esp*Extra_Tracks_Diamond.esp*Armorsmith Extended.esp*Armorsmith All DLCs Patch.esp*EveryonesBestFriend.esp*Dark Drifter.esp*BKFT_Outlaw.esp*CommonwealthSurvivalist.esp*Eli_Accessories.esp*Scavenged NCR Armor.esp*AK_USP45Standalone.esp*AK_M2216Standalone.esp*AK_M82AStandalone.esp*Rangergearnew.esp*MiscHairstyle.esp*el_AgentOutfit.esp*K9TacticalHarness.esp*Wasteland Sniper by Hothtrooper44.esp*LongerPowerLines3x.esp
damanding
Mods that you download from Nexus are incapable of giving you a virus or affecting your operating system negatively. ESM, ESP, textures, meshes, even the .pex script files can't harm your system. The only things you could download from Nexus that would are things like bat files (if they use code for the OS instead of console commands) and .exe programs and all of those are virus scanned. The latter are normally only found in tools like LOOT or Bodyslide and those programs are not only made by members of this community for this community, they're thoroughly vetted. As long as you stick to mods downloaded from reputable sites like Nexus or Bethesda.net you'll be fine. The activity you're seeing from your operating system is normal and is actually most likely the result of deleting, recreating, and then constantly editing the plugins.txt which is necessary for your game to use mods. If your game is operating normally there should be no reason for you to be touching the plugins file. Your mod manager will handle that for you. So don't play with the plugins.txt or the .ini files unless you really know what you're doing or are following the explicit instructions of someone who does. As for the actual lag, that's probably related to vram issues with your video card and has nothing to do with your operating system. You have some mods that are graphically heavy. They tend to result in longer loading times, both the initial game load and loading screens between interior/exterior cells, elevators, etc. Finally, your mod list is in desperate need of proper sorting. I suggest you download and use LOOT to sort it with. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5310/? In particular, go check the AWKCR page for their suggested load order for AWKCR and Armorsmith. All your esm files need to be at the top in the order that mod suggests, this includes Spring Cleaning and Homemaker too.
cossayos
All your esm files need to be at the top in the order that mod suggests, this includes Spring Cleaning and Homemaker too. Homemaker should be directly underneath the DLC esms to work properly. Otherwise it messes up the games build menus. And, as you said, in no case should any esm be below esps.
