Need help with a very specific CTD.

Hi guys, firstly thank you for clicking my problem!

 

I seem to be having a rather annoying issue of a CTD when trying to enter Dragonsreach, which pretty much makes my game dragonless, this cannot be.

 

I have searched high and low for perhaps people having similar problems, could not find any answers however, so I now come to you good folks for assistance, I have uninstalled certain mods to test them, but bulk uninstalling will be rather time consuming, so while I proceed in doing that I thought I would give a quick throw out of my mod list in case any guru here could lend assistance, and save me a possible migraine, cheers!

Cutting Room Floor has a host of patches for various mods. I don't see any in your load order, but I may have missed them. Check them to see if you are missing any.

 

I'm not sure what "DragonsKeep" is, but it sounds as if it could be relevant?

 

Have you run LOOT, looked at making a Bashed or Merged Patch?

 

For some reason I recall bookshelf mods causing some people trouble. Just a vague memory, probably nothing, but try disabling that and see if it helps. Not scientific advice in the slightest, worth a shot though.

 

If nothing else, the tried and true method is to disable your mods in chunks and try loading your save and doing the activity again until you find the one that does it. Disable a bunch, load, disable, and so on, until you get the crash no more. Then whittle down the list of the ones you disabled until you find it. That's the last resort method, but it's usually the most effective.

My apologies, I forgot about this post as I made a seperate one in the SSE forums, I found the culprit through process of elimination, it was the perfect Legionairre mod, I disabled the .esp and it worked again while keeping the textures in my game, have no idea how that works but hey, win win I guess!

YOU ARE A GODSEND. I've been struggling with this for a few weeks now, put so many hours into fixing this. Didn't think it'd be something as simple as this. Now I can finally achieve my dream of starting the main quest lmao.
