Hey Aragorn58, maybe you know how i could do this?

You know in the game there are Shackles for Prisoners to bound them to a Wall, now i wanna know, does this Wallcuffs also work for the Player self and how i would have to do, i tryed already, but in game when i click them happens Nothing?

Tysm if you know a Way how the Shackles work for NPC and me as Player also.

Yes I do know how to release an NPC from the shackles, but I'm at work atm and not able to access my notes. I will let you know as soon as I am able.

Tyvm, i tryed again, did the same as the Modder did in Evil Lair of hydra, but well, my Prisoners stand only there like dumb Idiots and the Shackles arent Seeable.

This is the way I made the wall shackles work to release an NPC.

First you need the ShackleWallMarker(furniture) , and ImperialWallShackle01(door). And place them where you want them putting them exactly on top of each other. I use a lever to activate the door, but you can do this however you want.

 

I also am using the NPC as an Alias on a quest.

 

Then place your (Alias) NPC in the furniture and give them a sit target package to place them in the shackles. Also give them a default sandbox package, but make sure the sit package is the first in the stack.

 

When the lever is activated, the shackles will open. Place a DefaultSetStageOnActivate script on the lever (or the shackles themselves or whatever you use to open them), and fill the properties in the CK. In the stage that you set, place this fragment

 

Alias_(your NPC).GetActorReference().EvaluatePackage()

 

When the shackles are opened, the NPC will be released from them, fall to the ground, get up and continue with their sandbox package.

 

I have never tried this with the player, but imagine something similar can be done.

There may be other ways of doing this, but after several nights of banging the key board this was the best solution I could come up with and it works every time.

Omg, tysm, this is perfect, na yesterday i tryed to keep my NPC Girls in the Shackles, so they look like Prisoners or Slaves, well as i came into my Game they stood around like waiting for what ever.

I gave them a Package like SlaveNameDMP and refered that to the Shackles, but didnt work, i had open the Mod Evil Lair of Hydra, to look, what he has done, to get this working, i did all like he, but strange he must have dne something i didnt see or is hidden in his Mod.

Tysm for that, i will try that immediately.

Btw, how many MB a Mod may have?

Lets say Interior Cell with Dungeons, Ways, Corridors,Enemies,Stuff etc etc, how many MB i may build?

If you can't get it to work let me know and I'll have a look. As far as size of a mod, I really don't know, but Falskaar's bsa is over 750MB.

Yeah , you can open my Mod and look inside, cause something goes strange, as you will see, i made already 2 Merchants inside my Lair, i wanted outside in the Village i New made also a Goods Trader, did exact the same as with my other Merchants, well, The Village Trader wont sell anything, means if you talk to her, she even dont starts with the Standard Phrase, were you can Bu and sell your Stuff, i followed exact Darkfox127 Tutorial, but well, Nothin, same with my Bard i did inside the Village INN , she only says one "I am Bard blablabla" Sing 0, nothin, but i did all from the Tutorial.

Tysm, i wish there would be detailed Tutorials about Bards,Merchants, cause i think the Tutorials already exist, dont tell every Detail those NPC need.

I took a look and there are more issues than just getting prisoners released from shackles. I realize this is an early version, but you really need to break up the lair. There are so many things being loaded in to memory that need to be rendered, there is a huge FPS drop in many areas, especially in the room with the Falmer. Lots of screen stutter. And if you add any scripting that occurs inside the cell there may be so much lag that they may not fire correctly.

 

I have no problem helping anyone with an issue I may be able to solve, but you need to address the major issues first before anything.

Strange, how can there come up Lag, what causes that Lag?

Do i have too much Lights set up?

This is a huge dungeon with a lot of special effects going on, like waterfall, fog, there is a ton of small objects in the room with the Falmer, and coupled with them attacking you the minute you walk in is just too much. I did not go through all the stuff in the CK or TES5Edit to see why the FPS drop is so dramatic.

The gaps in the walls and floors can crop up if you duplicate a hall and move it within the mod too. It happens when you move multiple selections. I guess that something similar is happening when you load stuff in from another mod.

 

Mostly you can put on angle snap and grid snap, move the offending pieces back and forward and they'll snap back into place all neat and tidy but I have had the occasional stubborn piece that refuses to play ball. In a dungeon or cave I'd cover these seams with rubble, dirt or shelves. In a home you might get away with laying a rug down over it.

 

It's a pain but it doesn't seem to happen often. I duplicated four such rooms in my current mod and only had 1 seam that I couldn't fix by moving the walls and floors back and forward.
