check to make sure your mouse and keyboard or game controller didn't come loose and try switching them to another usb port and if you have disc with drivers for them re-install them

Also make sure in the games menu that you have either mouse and keyboard with a x on the box or x for the game controller , go to settings>gameplay menu tab and make changes there

While I won't hate on the mouse / keyboard answer, I will say that there is another reason this happens and has happened to myself on many occasions. It is essentially a memory issue cause by the game trying to load to many mods / scripts at one at and basically chokes. If you don't believe me, try turning off 1/2 of you mods and attempting it again.

The other thing to consider is which 1/2 are you turning off. Do keep in mind that most of the weather, sound overhaul, and survival mods are VERY script heavy. This includes ones Climates of Tamriel, Frostfall, Wet and Cold, etc. On top of which if you are thinking of also running mods like warzones, or immersive patrols, that add a lot of actors on the screen at one time you WILL run into issues.

My suggestion is to ask what type of playthrough you really want: survival playthrough, civil war, eyebleed super HD EVERYTHING... etc and know that you will likely not get them all with same profile.

Personally I went for a civil war + quest profile and left the survival and HD everthing mods alone to save on script space / memory.

I had exactly the same issue. How did I fix? By going into NMM and disabling the last mod that I added then going into the game and check. If still no movement go to the next to last added mod and disable. Continue until your game moves again. Once the game moves then go back and leave the last mod you disabled that way and then re enable the other mods one at a time and check the game each time.

Sometimes mods will interfer with each other and cause issues with the game. This is NOT a critisim of the mods or mod makers at all. Once you have found the culprit mod then go onto Nexus and look up the mod again. Check for versions to see if you have the latest. If you do, do not enable it. If you don't then you can try to download the newest version of that mod and check to see if it has the same effect on your game.

Again, I would state again this is NOT the fault of the great Modders we have in the community because code conflicts could happen in game even without mods. Updates can do it as well. We as the gamers using mods just need to take a bit of responsibility for our adding mods to game and learn how to fix it.
