Lunder
I was to young to play Baldurs gate or Neverwinter nights 1 - But neverwinter nigths 2 was my first rpg that i can remember to finish.I'm currently playing through nwn 1 and i imagined how it would be to play such an adventure with skyrims interface, and graphics !Am i the only one who thinks it would be cool with a story driven action orientated rpg? I am no modder, but would this be a possibility or is it simply too big an undertaking? please let me know what you think in he comments :)og and btw happy newyears (in a few hours)
Esteris
Go play Baldur's Gate! At least the 2nd part never ages. People are still modding it too! That says a thing. But I think both conversion or making a HUGE scale mod like this would take ages. Not saying it isn't possible, but it would require a huge team and the chances of completion are very, very slim, sadly.

Esteris
NWN, compared to BG, has no story (aside from HotU)/ And actually BG2 is prettier because it's not a old 3D :) It's all smooth and looking well for its genre. But I understand your point. I couldn't play some game too, because of the way they look. I'm so shallow :psyduck:
FavoredSoul
I still play Baldur's Gate every once in a while. Its not ugly, it's vintage :) Edit: Besides, there are mods like TuTu that make Baldur's Gate high res and everything anyway. Not only that, but I found that the beauty behind NWN 1/2 was the ability to create your own campaign, or play other people's campaigns. The default campaigns really pissed me off. Some of the Premium Modules such as "Witches Wake" or whatever were pretty legit, but nothing compared to the DLC campaigns that came out. I'll admit the default campaign for NWN 1 was pretty good. Petrifying people to transport them illegally across the land? Golden. It would be cool to see maybe a tribute city built for Baldur's Gate way north of Winterhold though. Esteris
A tribute city is a far more doable idea! Especially since Baldur's Gate in BG1 had quite some nice antics to it. The Tree Lady being just one of them :teehee:
Allephus
It would be awesome to walk down the bridge of Baldur's Gate. I always wondered how it would look First Person, or even Third, instead of birds eye.
Illethrian
I've wanted a BG2 mod for almost every game I've played since BG2, and was planning just such a thing for Skyrim. But realizing how huge a project it would be to make what basically boils down to a TC, it struck me that I should just incorporate the quest lines into Skyrim, and use Skyrim's cities in place of Athkathla's districts. I'm eagerly anticipating the CK...
