MCrex007
So I've looked at quite a few tutorials around the forums, and the ones I found that worked seemed to be very old, and use outdated or no longer functional tools. I've managed to work my way through most of it, and actually extracted some nifs, but now I'm at a total loss as to how I can edit them. I've gotten NifTools for blender, but from what I can tell not only does that not work for skyrim nifs, its only partially functional as it was designed for an older version of Blender, and as expected does not work when importing them into blender. I'm pretty much at my wits end here, can someone point me in the right direction for a tool I can use to move a few vertices around? MCrex007
So I take it there is no free solution for this?
Ethreon
Well there's Blender and it should work with skyrim meshes, it works with F4 meshes. If it doesn't for you, you're kind of out of luck.. also, 3dmax is free for students for a 3 year duration.
MCrex007
Even if I did get 3Dmax, I'm much more familiar with Blender, so I'd prefer to use that. Could you walk me through importing meshes into Blender?
