Dead necromancer sliding down a hill...?

@Lime_Man,

you said "for their sheer scale, in all likeyhood the massive size of their games is probably why bugs appear"...

The reason any game is buggy is that developers have to create games that will be run on a multitude of different platforms. If everybody used the same exact PC setup, it would eliminate 95% of bugs. Not 'dissin' ya dude... just pointing out a fact. Anyway, that's what I've learned.

Also, I'm pretty sure I had a dead guy sliding down the hill before I had any mods installed. Don't remember where though....

Im aware of that but what I meant was the bugs that appear on all systems. And a large game means a lot more areas where bugs can appear that can be easily missed in testing. Out of intrest does anyone know if this bug appears on the console versions too?

Your opinion is not fact even when disguised by invented %'s.

Yes, differing platforms does add a level of complexity. Same reason MS software bugs more than Apple. But it's not the only way to add complexity, nor the only reason things bug. I kind of think (but not a fact) that actually the easiest bugs to find and fix are those related to hardware.

At its buggy little heart, Skyrim is a transaction processing system. It is no different, in theory, to numerous point of sale and inventory controls systems run by most retail stores. There are a lot of interactions, that all have consequences in numerous areas of concern to users. The law of unintended consequences is always in full effect when you start a transaction process. I don't know who BethSoft has troubleshooting the TPS, but they need to find someone who can get the job done. It's not a job I would care to take at this late date. As for mods breaking the black box, that is the Radiant AI, in my opinion, the abstaction layer is too transparent. It would be much better if it were more of a black box console. What do you guys think?
